Hearts in Healthcare Online community

About me – Dr. med. univ. Julia Bader

I have studied medicine at Innsbruck Medical University, Austria. Now I am in training to become a Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist in Switzerland. If you have any questions or would like to get more information about Tellerrandmedizin, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with me via e-mail.

About this blog

Tellerrandmedizin is a blog and networking platform for people who would like to look beyond what conventional medicine has to offer. To me Tellerrandmedizin means a humanistic and compassionate approach towards healthcare – heartfelt medicine. ‹Looking beyond the rim of your plate (= Tellerrand)› is the German expression for ‹looking beyond the rim of your teacup› or ‹looking outside of the box‹.

«Integrative Medicine is the practice of medicine that reaffirms the importance of the relationship between practitioner and patient, focuses on the whole person, is informed by evidence, and makes use of all appropriate therapeutic approaches, healthcare professionals and disciplines to achieve optimal health and healing.«
